GREEN HEROES

What did volunteers have to say about the project?

“I wanted to get involved because I think that global warming is caused by a lack of trees. It’s time to plant some more! Mankind is focused on technology and making money, they forget about ecology. Schools should teach more about life on our planet, making people more aware and careful with our planet.”
Miguel Angel Ruvalcaba (30, Tijuana)

“My brother, nephew, and I came to plant trees during our summer holiday from school and this is the most productive thing we’ve done all summer! I want to live in a world where beautiful trees grow everywhere. If the people of México changed their mindset, this could be the most beautiful country on earth!”
Raul Villarreal (21, Ensenada)

“Our world needs help and I’m happy to be a part of such a large-scale effort that can really make a difference. I’m here with my brothers and sisters, we want to inspire more people to plant trees and take care of the planet.”
Victor Perez (33, Obregon Sonora)

2016 was the 15th edition of Un Nuevo Bosque and a record 100,000 volunteers were involved.
